Die SEMA-Show in Las Vegas – ein Muss für Tuningfans

Dann präsentiert Ford den Mustang in acht völlig unterschiedlichen Tuning-Varianten. Das ist aber noch längst nicht alles. Auch die eher „brave“ Mittelklasselimousine Fusion und der Transit Connect mussten dran glauben und wurden entsprechend aufgemotzt. Ford zeigt ungeahnte Möglichkeiten und wird in Las Vegas unzählige begeisterte Tuningfreaks aus dem In- und Ausland finden. In den USA wurden allein im letzten Jahr etwa 32 Milliarden Dollar Umsatz von der Tuning- und Zubehörindustrie erwirtschaftet. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight wird Ford ebenfalls auf der SEMA präsentieren.
Ein Hot Rod mit Ecoboost-Triebwerk soll dem Trend zum umweltbewussten Fahren folgen. Dabei wurde auf den allseits beliebten V8-Motor verzichtet und dieser durch einen „normalen“ Sechszylinder ersetzt. Durch Turboaufladung und Benzindirekteinspritzung kommt der Hot Rod trotzdem auf rund 400 PS, verbraucht aber deutlich weniger als die Wagen mit V8-Motoren. Endlich ist umweltschonendes Fahren auch in den USA ein großes Thema geworden.
